Meet Lifespan Labs at Cornell (LiLaC)!

Dear Parents, 

We at the B.A.B.Y. Lab are thrilled to introduce an exciting new collaboration between Cornell’s developmental labs – LiLaC, or the Lifespan Labs at Cornell! LiLaC is a collection of labs that study the different stages of human development, from the earliest moments of infancy and childhood to adolescence and adulthood. Together, we work hard to create brand new opportunities for both researchers as well as local families like you! 

As spring approaches, LiLaC is buzzing with upcoming events right in the heart of Ithaca! Ask us your questions about developmental science or even participate in one of our fun activities.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store:

Parent Social & Science Play Time at Jillian’s Drawers: Join Lifespan Labs at Cornell (LiLaC) for a free Parent Social and Science Play time! Bring the whole family to play fun science games, unwind with other parents, and ask your questions about developmental science. Refreshments will be offered.

Living Lab at the Sciencenter: Are you interested in participating in a study about human development? Stop by the Sciencenter’s Living Lab to connect with researchers of Lifespan Labs at Cornell (LiLaC) and become involved in their work! Participate in one of our Virtual Reality (VR) games for parents at 10:30 AM, or learn more about how children make moral decisions at 1:00 PM.

Virtual Reality at the Tompkins County Public Library: Calling all Infant Scientists (and their parents)! Researchers from the Cornell B.A.B.Y. Lab need your help exploring how children shape the way adults see the world. We invite you to stop by to chat with us about developmental science, and even participate in our Virtual Reality parenting game!
